I'm not the person you're asking, but as for the first question, it's probably a leaker or really anyone whom could access the files and repost them. I personally dislike the pirated stuff especially seeing as how the new episodes are only 5 dollars.
Since we share public version with 80% of content for free anyway, it's not extremely hurtful that it gets stolen. I mean people who steal wouldn't pay anyway, and those who want to support us will send a small donation even if they played the pirated game first.
Talking of piracy in general, I think it's not evil when we're talking about big corporations who spend on advertising more than on the game itself, but stealing from indie developers is vile - for these guys every dollar matters, and each cent goes directly into the development.
During first year we had less than a thousand dollars a month from all platforms in total, so we simply couldn't afford many things. Now as our community grows we have animations, better coding, fixed grammar and long quests. I want to believe our quality grows with each release, and it has become possible only thanks to support of our fans, who stayed with us even though we can't release updates during war.
well done, making a high-quality game is worthy of respect, especially when you do it despite the situation in the World, look at my avatar, it's an illustration of war and terrorism, it's terrible, I hope everything will get better soon, as for thieves, I'm really sorry that I have to be on their side, I would I'm glad to support you, but I don't want to anger anyone with this, it's impossible to donate to foreign companies in my country, I think you understand what kind of country this is, I hope to stay in this community and support you at least verbally, thank you for your hard work

please read: I was playing the Halloween episode, when I got stuck at the fair part, and when I tried closing the game to try again from my last save point, I found that it wasn’t there! I had saved multiple times throughout the game, and all of my progress is now gone!
If you've been playing on the website (itch.io), you're data would reset due to glitches with the website itself, please get the game as an app to play without saves disappearing, hope this helps!
i kinda find it annoying that episode 8 costs 5 dollars.. and i live in czechia and im loving the game.. except for the halloween one... and i dont like that episode 8 costs money

You're unable to do so. It restarts your progress so you can see the cellar revamp (trust me, it's so worth it)
