It works for mine computer, however some users told their progress was gone too. If you download exe (windows) version and extract to your computer it definitely will work + it has attached save file

I love the art and gameplay! I just have one small request. I’m using the browser preview and my browser automatically reloads the page whenever I reopen it. When it reloads, I lose all my progress, even the progress I saved. I got to the point where the only quests left were meet Sammy in the warehouse and go on a date, and I lost ALL OF IT. Can you fix this?

Honestly what I recommend you do is simply buy the game for $1.55, as once bought all future releases will be free. And I don't think so no, as the MC seems to be having fun with the whole town atm. Episode 7 is Rita and Naira focused, literally, (you'll see what I mean when you play it), and focuses mostly on the rivalry between the two during a Halloween event in the town.
Spoilers:
Rita makes a mess of the whole event, and gets rough used by a big wolf at the end, and then releases it on the already wrecked town.
for example you can use your work interface so your boss won’t be asking why are you sitting staring at a dog (still better than why are you jerking in the office)
But the beautiful thing about a learning game programmer that lives in his mom's basement, is the only 'boss' I have to worry about is the fast food manager that I go to work at when I can't code.
